Airstream Leisure is a family business that operates seven successful holiday caravan and lodge parks in England, Wales and Canada.
They took on their first sales concession – a 350-pitch caravan park in Cumbria – in 2000 and within two years were operating 12 sales concessions, including a group of parks for Cinque Ports Leisure, which they were commissioned to develop in preparation for their sale. The parks were eventually successfully sold to the Park Holidays Group.
Airstream Leisure bought its first holiday caravan and lodge park in 2003 in British Columbia, Canada, where all 150 pitches have been sold out since the day the company took over.
It purchased its second park in 2005 – a 100-pitch static caravan park in Corton, Suffolk – and two years later acquired a third park at Kilnsea, Yorkshire, where there are 250 static pitches.
In addition to its own three parks, Airstream Leisure operates the sales operations at four other UK parks. It employs 20 people, including eight full-time sales staff.
For the last ten years Airstream Leisure's subsidiary Zedten Caravans has operated a caravan transport service, moving caravans between parks across the country. Airstream also owns and runs Tenby Tourers, which sells new and used touring and static caravans and holds franchises for Adria, Victory and Regal caravans.
The company is a member of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association, the official representative body of the holiday parks industry.
